Country/pop star Carrie Underwood brought -10-year-old cancer survivor Kaitlyn Finn on stage with her to perform "All-American Girl" at her concert last Friday in Brownsville, Oregon.
They were connected through the Make-A-Wish foundation. After the show Carrie Tweeted, "Fun times in Oregon! Thanks to all who came out to have fun tonight. And a special thanks to my duet partner, Kaitlyn!"
Here's one more thing that's pretty awesome about Carrie: She will be one of the recipients of the year's "Artist Achievement Award" from the T.J. Martell Foundation. The ceremony happens October 22 in New York city.
Past honorees have included Katie Couric, former President George W. Bush, Arnold Palmer, Quincy Jones, Ann Curry, Al Roker and former President Bill Clinton.
