-- Yahoo! would seem like the type of company that would encourage progressive and non-traditional work styles, but apparently that's not the case. Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer has officially banned the company's employees from working from home. Here's the critical sentence: "To become the absolute best place to work, communication and collaboration will be important, so we need to be working side-by-side. That is why it is critical that we are all present in our offices."
-- NFL teams seem to want to know if Manti Teo is gay. That's understandable. Does a coach want to deal with the media headache that would arise from that? And said gay player would be persecuted in that locker room by a large amount of his teammates.
-- McFarlane did the Oscars once, and that's good enough for him. The "Family Guy" showrunner hosted Sunday's Academy Awards, but said he will not take the job again. MacFarlane wrote on Twitter that there was "no way" he would host another Oscars . He did say, however, that it was "lotta [sic] fun to have done it." I doubt he'll be offered any kind've raise to lure him back. So yes, drop the mic and quit, before you're rudely requested not to return.
-- Dancing With The Stars is far more dancing than stars these days. I'll give it a few minutes for Kellie Pickler. The new cast.
