LINDSAY LOHAN GOES BACK TO JAIL… FOR A FEW MINUTES

Lindsay Lohan will get out of jail in a matter of minutes ... this according to officials from the L.A. County Sheriff's Department.
Two Sheriff's Dept. officials confirm that if someone receives a misdemeanor sentence of 90 days or less, they are routinely processed in and then released. As one of the officials put it, "She'll be out without even having to change her clothes."
Judge Stephanie Sautner sentenced Lindsay to serve 30 days in the pokey, adding that the only way to shave time off the sentence is if it's required by law. A Sheriff's official said earlier this week ... misdemeanor inmates only serve 20% of the actual sentence because of overcrowding. But 2 officials on Wednesday said ... because of overcrowding they immediately release inmates sentenced to less than 90 days.
As for what the judge said -- that the sentence can only be reduced if required by law -- the officials say there's a federal court order on overcrowding that "trumps everything," and that order has been interpreted to immediately release people with short jail sentences.
Sheriff's spokesperson Steve Whitmore just confirmed... Lindsay will get in and out of jail pronto, adding the only reason there might be any sort of delay -- possibly overnight-- is if there are lots of other inmates who are being processed out at the same time.
PLAYBOY HELPS KEEP LINDSAY OUT OF JAIL

Lindsay Lohan was not immediately sent to jail because the judge decided to allow her time to complete her nude photo shoot for Playboy.
Sources directly connected with Lindsay say Lindsay's lawyer, Shawn Holley, told the judge in chambers that Lindsay had a contract with Playboy -- a contract of nearly $1 million -- and the shoot must be completed this week. If it isn't, Lindsay would be in breach of her contract.
So Judge Stephanie Sautner cut LiLo a break ... and gave her one week to surrender. Lindsay will surrender for the camera in the next few days.
Justice is not only blind ... sometimes it's stark naked.

Lindsay Lohan is telling friends ... she believes Judge Sautner's sentencing deal is "very fair" ... and she's vowing to hold up her end of the bargain so she doesn't have to spend an extra 270 days in jail. Lindsay believes the deal "isn't the most exciting thing" ... because she will still have to spend time behind bars ... but LiLo is happy she has the opportunity to control her own destiny.
Sources say Lindsay understands what's at stake if she screws up ... and she doesn't want to go down that road. In fact, Lindsay actually believes Judge Sautner is "nice" ... and doesn't want to disappoint her.
As we previously reported, Lindsay had a choice on her sentence -- 300 days in jail ... or 30 days in jail, with mandatory community service and therapy sessions.
She chose door #2 ... and she's confident she won't regret it.

After jetting Down Under to promote her handbag collection, Kim Kardashian sat down for her first live TV interview (with an Australian morning show) since her shocking divorce announcement. Sitting with sister Khloe by her side, pristine and composed Kim was a far cry from a distraught woman going through a traumatic break-up as she talked to Sunrise news show hosts in Sydney. When asked if she really worked at her 72-day marriage and got counseling, the usually hard-working star replied: "I think when you know so deep in your heart that you just have to listen to your intuition and follow your heart, there's no right or wrong thing to do," said Kardashian. "I didn't want to disappoint anyone but I had to follow my heart." Kim filed for divorce from Kris Humphries after just 72 days on Monday, and has since claimed that she would never marry for money. Rather than crying over Kris, the 31-year-old reality star said the thing that upsets her most is the talk of how much money she made from her August wedding. "From the start there have been so many rumors of money and dollar signs thrown up into the air," complained Kim, who never mentioned Kris Humphries by name during the entire interview. "'This much and this much and this much,' and so much of it not being true, so it's kind of what you get living your life so publicly on a reality show." Kim described living her life in the spotlight as "a double edged sword. It's hard to go through right now and I'm glad I'm out here to get my mind off things," she said. As usual, the business queen distracted herself from real life by promoting her latest product, "I just wanted to stick with my commitment to come out here to Australia," she said. "I love our fan base out here and of course I do want some time to myself, it's a really tough thing to go through but I didn't want to bail on everyone and kind of skip out on this commitment here." Her trusty side-kick Khloe gushed, "She's being really strong and Lamar and I are here to be her support at this time."

Sources directly connected with Justin Bieber claim the singer is adamant he never had sexual relations with the woman who claims she had his baby ... and as far as he knows, Justin has never even met her.
The woman in question reportedly filed a paternity suit against Justin, claiming she and JB had a special hug backstage at a recent concert at the Staples Center in L.A. ... and 9 months later, she popped out a baby, baby, baby, oh.
But Justin believes the story was "completely made up."
Bieber just tweeted about the situation -- saying, "Im going to ignore the rumors...and focus on what is real. An opportunity to help by doing what I love. Judge me on the music! Love yall!"

It's war behind the scenes at Dancing With the Stars! Though DWTS fans may have dismissed Maksim Chmerkovskiyand Derek Hough's testy public back-and-forth as simply a heated rivalry. What's at the root of their bad blood? "They hate each other," a DWTSinsider says of Chmerkovskiy, 31, and Hough, 26, who had it out after Chmerkovskiy's on-air spat with DWTS judge Len Goodman. It's been a whirlwind year for Jessica Simpson, who became engaged to former NFL player Eric Johnson last November and recently confirmed that she's expecting their first child. Ashton Kutcher's not letting those pesky divorce rumors get him down. The 33-year-old partied with his former That '70s Show costars Danny Masterson and Wilmer Valderrama on Tuesday night at a party for Warby Parker eyewear in L.A. (Kutcher was a guest of Warby Parker's co-founders Dave Gilboa and Neil Blumenthal.) The Two and a Half Men star tweeted several photos of himself and his "boys," while Masterson, 35, wrote that it was an "epic night." Meanwhile, Demi Moore, 48, implied via Twitter that she was at home watching Zooey Deschanel'sNew Girl. "I was with the new episode and loved it!" she wrote. “Happy to see Lake Bell on the show, too!" Although Kutcher appeared to be his usual happy self Tuesday, he was somber and subdued at the GQGentleman's Ball in NYC one week ago. After the event, he and his spiritual mentor Rabbi Philip Bergencountered radio personality Craig Schwartz, a.k.a.. "Radio Man," as they waited for their car outside the ballroom. While Lovato and Valderrama were photographed in a passionate embrace, they remain mum about their relationship. Lovato's rep says, "We're not going to comment on this."

"No matter how much money you have, it's just smart to use coupons," she says. "It's like free money in your pocket." Gosselin will blog about her coupon savings for CouponCabin.com starting November 22. "One week, I remember saving more than half my grocery bill that week with coupons," she recalls. "I was beyond thrilled." In mid-October, the mother of eight began tweeting about her big savings, telling her followers: "I've never shopped at Bed, Bath and Beyond WITHOUT coupons! I've returned with my receipt and a coupon many times, even when 'not broke.'" The weight-loss drug Phentermine appears to have contributed to the death of football-star-turned-actor Bubba Smith last summer. The 6'7", 300-lb. Smith, who died at age 66, suffered from acute intoxication of the drug along with other conditions, according to his autopsy. Smith, who after pro sports played mild-mannered Moses Hightower in six Police Academy films, also had heart disease, an enlarged heart and up to 75 percent blockage of some blood vessels.

Stanley Tucci found love again! The Devil Wears Prada actor, 50, is engaged to Felicity Blunt -- sister to actress Emily Blunt. "Stanley is very happy with her," the source says of British Blunt, who works at a London literary agency. Tucci and bride-to-be Felicity were recently set up by her famous actress sister Emily, with whom he worked in The Devil Wears Prada. "Emily loved Stanley on the set of Devil, and just thought they would hit it off, so she set them up," the source explains, adding that Tucci has been making frequent visits to London to be with her. It will be the second marriage for Tucci, whose first wife, Kate, lost her battle with cancer in April 2009. The spouses share three children together.
