I am very lucky to do something I love everyday, and I happen to do my job with some pretty funny guys!!!

*I love shopping
*I am obsessed with Target...it's my happy place
*Both my husband and my best friend are red heads
*I make up random words when I talk...this drives Demetrius crazy, so I tend to do it more!

I took the long route to get into radio, I went to Syracuse University and graduated with a BS in Inclusive Education. Then I moved to Virginia for my first teaching job, 2nd/3rd grade special education, then followed my heart and moved to Corpus Christi, Texas to be with my then boyfriend-Shaun Hegarty, we were later married in May of 2006. I taught in Texas for another few years, 4th/5th grade Special Ed. I loved teaching but got burned out pretty fast, I think teachers are the most amazing people ever.
When we moved to Toledo in 2006 for Shaun's job at Fox Toledo I decided to work full time for Weight Watchers. When the oppertunity to work in radio came along, I couldn't pass it up.
My other love in the world, besides radio, is my family. I am married to Shaun and we have a beautiful daughter Leah. She is amazing and teaches me something new everyday.
I am probably one of the most random people you will ever meet...and lucky for you guys, you get to hear all of those random thoughts every morning on The Morning Rush!
