DAYTONA WRECK
Before Sunday's major Daytona 500 NASCAR race, their was another race called the, "Nationwide Series race."
28 people were injured in the crash during the last lap when a car broke through the 22-foot safety fence and flew into the stands. Fourteen people were hospitalized, and the other 14 were treated on-site. As of yesterday, seven people were still in the hospital.
One adult suffered life-threatening head trauma but was later stabilized, while a 14-year-old was also in critical but stable condition.
Amazingly, none of the drivers were hurt in the 12 car crash, not even the driver of the car (Kyle Larson) whose car went through the fence. Here's the video.
