Have you been naughty or nice? A Canadian police force is sending these Xmas cards - featuring a gun-toting Santa - to known crooks in a bid to scare them straight. The Abbotsford Police Department mailed the greeting cards to dozens of offenders and gang members. Police Chief Bob Rich donned tactical gear and picked up the gun to pose as the Santa for the card's cover. The front reads: "Which list will you be on next year?" And a message inside reads: "You are always only one choice away from changing your life." The cards are being sent to gang members, prolific offenders and property offenders as part of Operation Resolution. They include a telephone help line for criminals who want to turn their life around. Abbotsford, in British Columbia, was Canada's murder capital in 2008 and 2009 but is now one of the safest big cities in the country, according to new figures.
